Obituary for Paula R. Maxson
PAULA R. MAXSON, 50, of 16234 Greenland Drive, Morrison, IL, died Friday, November 30, 2007 at CGH Medical Center, Sterling, IL. Paula was born June 10, 1957 in Morrison, IL, to Paul and Phernie (Eizenga) Tichler. She was educated in the Morrison grade and high schools. She married Jeffrey A. Maxson on March 30, 1987 in Morrison. Paula was employed by Morrison Community Hospital and Pleasant View Nursing Home both of Morrison as a nurses aid. She was a member of Ebenezer Reformed Church. Paula enjoyed crafts, gardening, and spending time with her family and grandchildren. Survivors include her husband, Jeff; her mother, Mrs. Phernie Tichler of Morrison; one daughter, Mandy Leong of Rock Island, IL; one son, Chad (Lesley) Dever of Dixon, IL; two grandchildren, Jozi and Eli Dever; four sisters, Audrey (Mrs. Kenneth) Balk and Linda (Mrs. Vernon) Smith both of Fulton, IL; Joyce (Mrs. Phil) Wilkins of Morrison; Marcia (Mrs. Ron) Mildren of Low Moor, IA; four brothers, Warren (Roberta) Tichler of Fulton; Vernon (Sherri) Tichler, Marvin (Mary) Tichler, and Larry (Diane) Tichler all of Morrison; one sister-in-law, Mrs. Donna Tichler of Rock Falls, IL and one brother-in-law, Marion Sterenberg of Fulton, IL. She was preceded in death by her father; one sister, Sharon Sterenberg; and one brother, Robert Tichler.
