Obituary for Patricia Molly Jones
PATRICIA "MOLLY" JONES, 77, of Morrison, IL, died Sunday, October 12, 2014, at CGH Medical Center in Sterling, IL. Molly was born October 30, 1936, in Tampico, IL, to Frank and Nellie (Brophy) Kelly. She was a 1954 graduate of Morrison High School. She married Kenneth A. "Skeeter" Jones on November 15, 1958, in Morrison. Molly was employed by the Whiteside News Sentinel and then was a homemaker for many years. She enjoyed golfing and was still playing 2-3 times a week. She was a member of the Morrison Country Club and was active in the "Niners Golf Ladies" group. In her early years she was an avid bowler. Molly loved baking, cooking and spending time with her family, especially her grandkids and great-grandkids. A memorial has been established. Survivors include her husband, Skeeter; one daughter, Terri (Gary) Morgan of DeWitt, IA; one son, Steve (Rana) Jones, of Morrison; three grandchildren, Lindsey (Justin) Wagner, Courtney (Matt) Lundeen, Laini (Zach) Houzenga; two great-grandchildren, Morgan Wagner and Cooper Houzenga; four sisters, Jeri Renkes of Morrison, IL, Helen Millerschone of Rochelle, IL, Peggy (Kent) Foreman of Morrison, IL; Rita (Burt) Seaman of Morrison, IL; one sister-in-law, Janice Kelly of Morrison, IL. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, James and Frank Kelly.
