Obituary for Patricia M. Hurley
PATRICIA M. "PATSIE" HURLEY, 77, of Bluff Terrace Nursing Facility in Clinton, IA, formerly of Morrison, IL, died Friday, June 08, 2007 at the nursing home. Pat was born February 21, 1930, in Sublette, IL, to Harvey and Vola (Anthony) Young. She was educated in the Erie, IL schools. She married Richard Hurley on April 27, 1946 in Fulton, IL. He died June 23, 1989. She and her husband owned and operated Pat and Dick"s Tap in Morrison for 17 years. She then worked at Volckmann"s Furniture Manufacturing in Morrison for 17 years. Lastly she worked at the Morrison VFW for 8 years. She enjoyed playing cards and bingo, and especially loved spending time with her family. Survivors include five daughters, Linda (Guy) Plumley of Fulton, IL, Debbie (Roger) Tegeler and Kathy Vos, both of Morrison, IL, Veronica (Ray) Hughes of Clinton, IA, and Dorothy Hurley of Arlington Heights, IL; two sons, Mike (Lynette) Hurley of Cedar City, UT and Patrick (Hannah) Hurley of Portland, OR; twelve grandchildren, Missy (Randy) Planthaber, Jenny (Eric) Dorsey, Brad (Kim) Tegeler, Jamie (Steve) Silvest, Stephanie (Skip) Drey, Eric (Latisha) Tegeler, Trisha Hughes, Greg (Nikki) Hughes, Matt (Sarah) Plumley, Alyssa Vos, Brendan and Megan Hurley; eight great grandchildren, Noah Planthaber, Dreyten and Dawsen Dorsey, Hunter and Peyton Tegeler, Brook, Madison and Jada Silvest; one sister, Dorothy Young of N. Ft. Myers, FL; one brother, Gordon (Carol) Young of Erie, IL; a special friend, Terry Teramae. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dick; one brother, Emery Young.
