Obituary for Patricia Louise McDanel
PATRICIA LOUISE MC DANEL, 74, of Fulton, IL, died Friday, January 14, 2011 at Mercy Medical Center North, Clinton, IA. Patricia was born August 10, 1936 in Clinton, IA, to Robert and Elsie V. (Lass) Weddle. She was educated in the Lyons Grade School and attended Lyons High School and graduated from Clinton High School all in Clinton, IA. She married Richard Sissing on November 11, 1956 in Clinton, IA. He died August 7, 1976. She later married Clair M. McDanel on March 17, 1979 in Garden Plain, IL. Patricia was a homemaker and was employed by K-Mart in Clinton until it closed. She was a member of the Garden Plain Presbyterian Church in Fulton where she taught Sunday School for many years. She was an avid square dancer and was a member of the Riverboat Rustlers and Solo Steppers square dance clubs. She was also a member of the Harbor Crest Auxiliary. Patricia was an avid Mickey Mouse collector. Survivors include one daughter, Julie (Steven) Sanders of Ballwin, MO; two sons, Bryan (Fiancee " Sarah Hawk) Sissing of Fulton, IL and Ken Sissing of Fort Worth, TX; seven grandchildren, Timothy, Luke, Stephanie and Vannessa Sanders; Lindsey Sissing; and Siara and Angelyca Hawk; one great granddaughter, Kinsley Keel; two sisters-in-law, Harriet Vrchoticky of Morrison, IL and Margaret Aguirre of Riverside, CA; close friends, Donna Smith and Roy Tague; and her beloved cat, Joe. She was preceded in death by her parents and her first husband, Richard.
