Obituary for Nyla J. Graham
NYLA J. GRAHAM, 68, of 1308 14th Avenue, Fulton, IL, died Wednesday, March 8, 2006 at Trinity Hospital at Terrace Park in Bettendorf, IA. Nyla was born March 17, 1937, in Sterling, IL, to Harry and Mamie (Currie) Johnson. She was educated in the rural Whiteside County schools and graduated from Erie High School. She married Kenneth L. Graham on May 27, 1956 in Fenton, IL. Nyla had worked at Drives, Inc. in Fulton, IL for 27 years, retiring in 2000. She was a member of the Fenton United Methodist Church and was an avid gardener and fair exhibitor. She was a devoted grandmother, dedicating her time to her grandchildren"s many activities. Survivors include her husband, Kenneth; four daughters, Cinda (Tom) Schrader of Fulton, IL, Ellen (Danny) Loncar of Fulton, IL, Susan (Rod) Waters of Clinton, IA and Amy (Mike) Oudekerk of Morrison, IL; two sons, Kenneth Eric (Jody) Graham of Fulton, IL and Curtis J. (Denise) Graham of Peoria, IL; eleven grandchildren, Mindy (Brad) Babcock, Adrien and Devan Loncar, Ryan (Halona Huebner) Graham, Reagen Waters, Jason Graham, Barb, Brad, Kelly, Kayla Oudekerk, Carolyn Graham; three great grandchildren, Paige, Shawn and Olivia Babcock, two sisters, Mrs. Treva Frohling of Sterling, IL and Lola (Mike) Harris of East Moline, IL; two brothers, Gary (Donna) Johnson of Albany, IL and Alfred (Jo) Johnson of Fulton, IL. She was preceded in death by her parents; an infant son, Michael Graham; one brother, Roger G. Johnson.
