Obituary for Norman E. Isenhart
NORMAN E. ISENHART, 76, of Pleasant View Nursing Home, Morrison, IL, formerly of Chadwick, IL, died Wednesday, June 20, 2007, at the nursing home. Norman was born February 3, 1931 in Chadwick, IL, to Oscar Earl and Mary Margaret Louise (Hartman) Isenhart. He was educated in the Fair Haven grade schools and attended Chadwick High School. He married Shirley A. Friederich on August 12, 1952 in Savanna, IL. Norman farmed, along with his wife, in the rural Chadwick area his entire life. He also drove truck for Warren Trucking of Waterloo, IA. On his farm, he raised registered jerseys, which he showed at several county fairs. He was a member of the Fair Haven United Methodist Church and the Chadwick Lions Club. Survivors include his wife, Shirley; three sons, Norman E. Isenhart II of Mt. Carroll, IL; Steven A. Isenhart of Waldwick, WI; and Nick Isenhart of Chadwick, IL; five grandchildren; one great granddaughter; four sisters, Mrs. Harriet French of Albany, NY; Mrs. Bessie Rowland of Freeport, IL; Esther (Mrs. George) St. Ores of Freeport, IL; and Mary (Mrs. David) Brahms of Carlsbad, CA; and one brother, Paul (Eva) Isenhart of Huntley, IL. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Della Hussey and Naomi Isenhart; four brothers, Harry, Vernon, Herb, and Jim Isenhart.
