Obituary for Nellie C. Eads
NELLIE C. EADS, 81, of 19210 Creamery Road, Morrison, IL, died Tuesday, October 3, 2006 at her home. Nellie was born December 21, 1924 in Vilna, Alberta, Canada to Henry A. and Ellen (Parsons) Lindstrom. She married Victor M. Eads on May 9, 1947 in Morrison, IL. He died September 22, 1996. She was employed by Volckman"s Furniture Factory and Ice Cooling Factory both of Morrison, IL. Most recently, she was employed by General Electric in Morrison for 18 years, retiring in 1986. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Morrison and the church"s Mary & Martha Circle. She had served as president of the American Baptist Women"s Circle and was a member of the Church Women United. She had resided in Cambridge and Woodhull, IL and Sioux City, IA before moving to Morrison. Survivors include two daughters, Vicki (Mrs. Jim) Carroll and Ellen Turner both of Morrison, IL; three sons, Larry (Mary) Eads and Robert (Eileen) Cook both of Morrison, IL; and Richard (Mary) Lindstrom of Thomson, IL; twenty-three grandchildren; forty-nine great grandchildren, one sister-in-law, Mrs. Reba Lindstrom of Morrison, IL. She was preceded in death by her husband, Victor; one great grandson, Jacob Lyle Lindstrom, and one brother, Louis Lindstrom.
