NATHAN ROBERT ROCKER, 27, of Collins, MO, died Sunday, October 22, 2023, as a result of an automobile accident in Collins, MO.
His funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, October 28, 2023, at the Morrison Chapel of the Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home with Pastor Butch McNinch, retired pastor, officiating. The visitation will precede the service starting at 12:00 PM until the time of the funeral. Interment will be at Grove Hill Cemetery in Morrison. A memorial has been established to Weaubleau First Baptist Church in Weaubleau, MO.
Nathan was born January 1, 1996, in Geneseo, IL, to Charles L. and Paula J. (Landsiedel) Rocker. He was educated in the Riverdale Grade Schools and was a 2014 graduate of Riverdale High School in Port Byron, IL. He furthered his education by attending Linn State Technical College of Missouri in Linn, MO. He was an all-state wrestler during high school and excelled as an All-Conference athlete in football, baseball and wrestling. Nathan enjoyed working with his hands, building, and also disassembling and reconstructing various projects. He applied those skills at Rocker Home Pros in Collins, MO, which he owned and operated with his brother Charles. He was in the process of becoming a member at Weaubleau First Baptist Church in Weaubleau, MO. He was an avid RC car enthusiast and enjoyed the thrill of riding dirt bikes. He had a love for all music, and enjoyed singing and dancing. He was not only a music enthusiast but also an impressionist, skillfully mimicking various voices and sounds to the delight of those around him. He was a fantastic cook, who created delicious dishes. More than his hobbies, Nathan was cherished for his kind and generous nature. He was always the first to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. His selflessness and willingness to assist others made him an invaluable friend and family member.
Survivors include his parents, Paula and Charles L. Rocker of Goodyear, AZ; one sister, Karmen (Andrew) Wehrhan of Nashville, TN; one brother, Charles R. (fiancée, Julianna Hammond) Rocker of Collins, MO; one niece, Mia Rose Wehrhan; one nephew, Elliot Wehrhan; maternal grandmother, Patricia Catlett of Kewanee, IL; paternal grandmother, Cindi Wilson of Arlington, TX; many aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by maternal grandfather, Richard Landsiedel; paternal grandfather, Charles E. Rocker.
