Obituary for Nancy J. Edwards
NANCY J. EDWARDS, 59, of Morrison, IL, died Tuesday, November 5, 2019, at Morrison Community Hospital in Morrison.
A Celebration of Life Visitation will be held from 2:00 PM to 5P.M. Sunday, November 10, 2019, at the Morrison Chapel of the Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home. Cremation Rites will be accorded following the Celebration of Life. Interment will be at Grove Hill Cemetery in Morrison at a later date. A memorial has been established by her family.
Nancy was born April 4, 1960, in Morrison, to Donald J. and Virginia L. “Ginny” (Walters) Gorzney. She attended Clystick Grade School and was a graduate of Morrison High School. Nancy married Tom Edwards, Sr. on December 9, 1992, in Mt. Carroll, IL. He died August 18, 2009. Nancy worked at Climco Coils in Morrison and later at P & P Industries as an assembler. She also cleaned at the Morrison Veterinary Clinic for many years. Most recently, she worked at the AmericInn in Fulton, IL. Nancy loved reading, crocheting, camp fires, and taking in and caring for different animals around the farm. She enjoyed gardening and cooking. Nancy was the perfect grandma.
Survivors include four daughters, Toshua (Jr. Willis) Rodgers of Corinth, MS; Aimee (Tyler Todd) Marruffo of Chadwick, IL; Anna (Hayden) Combs of Atkinson, IL; and Michelle Edwards of Morrison, IL; two sons, Tom (Ashleigh Oman) Edwards Jr of Rochelle, IL and Tyler Edwards of Morrison, IL; ten grandchildren, Matthew, Nathan, Kaitlyn, Brooklyn, and Ashlynn; Blake, Tyson, Nataleigh; Cruz, and Cooper; one sister, Teresa (Kenny) Roberts of Morrison, IL and one brother, Glen (Stacey) Gorzney of Colorado.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents; her parents; her husband, Tom; and one brother, Todd Gorzney.
