Obituary for Milton "Skip" Miller, Jr.
MILTON “SKIP” MILLER, JR., 74, of Fulton, IL, died Monday, November 28, 2022 at MercyOne Medical Center in Clinton, IA.
Cremation rites have been accorded. There will be no funeral service or visitation at this time. The Fulton Chapel of the Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Skip was born December 4, 1947, in Savanna, IL, to Milton Sr. and Lavon C. (Arthur) Miller. He attended the Center Hill School in rural Carroll County. On July 7, 1979 he married Diane Geerts in Lanark, IL. In his younger years he helped a few area farmers after school. He was then employed by Timken Drives in Fulton, retiring after 35 years. He was an avid John Deere toy collector.
Survivors include his wife, Diane; one daughter, Mindy (Jamey) Longrie of Mt. Carroll, IL; one son, Robert (Lauri) Miller of Forreston, IL; five grandchildren, Jewel Kiner, Jaden Kosinski, Sarah Miller, Layla Miller and Donavan Longrie; one sister, Joann Miller of Mt. Carroll, IL; one brother, Gary Miller of Savanna, IL.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
