MICHAEL "HOUZER" J. HOUZENGA, 43, of Chadwick, IL, died Sunday, May 5, 2013, at CGH Medical Center, Sterling, IL. Michael was born October 19, 1969, in Morrison, IL, to Gary L. and Linda (Diephuis) Houzenga. He graduated from Chadwick High School in 1987. Michael farmed in the Chadwick, IL area. He enjoyed hunting and watching rodeos. Survivors include his parents, Gary and Linda Houzenga of Fulton, IL; two sisters, Melissa and Dale Huizenga of Kewaunee, WI, and Amanda and Jason Deets of Chadwick, IL; one nephew, Dawson Deets; paternal grandmother, Lorraine Houzenga of Fulton, IL; many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Earl and Ruth Diephuis; paternal grandfather, James "Jim" Houzenga.
