Obituary for Michael B. Sally Sr.
MICHAEL B. SALLY SR., 55, of 18781 Elston Road, Fulton, IL, died Sunday, September 18, 2011 at his home. Michael was born in Beardstown, IL, on April 8, 1956 to Lester B. Fox and Nellie Darlene Sally. He was educated in the Peoria, IL schools and graduated from Blackhawk College in Moline, IL with his LPN. He served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. He married Esther Enoch on November 1, 1975 in Peoria. Michael was employed as a LPN for 25 years. He has lived in Fulton for the last four years. Michael was very intelligent. He loved his dogs, Julie, Puppup and Romeo. He liked reading, collecting movies and dragons. He also enjoyed traveling. Survivors include one daughter, Elizabeth (Shane) Brown of Clinton, IA; two sons, Michael (Betty) Sally Jr. of Clinton, IA and Timothy Sally of Fulton, IL; eleven grandchildren: Stefeny Belcher, Carry Sally, Austin Sally, Kyle Sally, Johnathan Sally, Kelly Sally, Dawson Sally, Kolby Snodgrass, Lukas Jacobson, Madison Sally and Ryan Brown; three great grandchildren, Kallie Simpson, Anna Nicole Sally and Ella Sally; three sisters, Beverly Sally and Diana Donath of Peoria, IL and Sue (Bill) Kalb of Mauckport, IN; two brothers, Johnnie and Terry Sally, both of Peoria, IL. He was preceded in death by his mother, Nellie Enoch; father, Lester Fox; three brothers, Eddie Joe and Ernest Sally.
