Obituary for Maxine M. Campbell
MAXINE M. CAMPBELL, 89, of Fulton, IL, formerly of Bloomington, IL, died Sunday, October 17, 2010, at Mercy Medical Center North in Clinton, IA. Maxine was born March 6, 1921, in McVey, IL, to Claude and Pearl (Leach) Sutherland. She was educated in the Girard grade schools and graduated from Girard High School. Maxine attended business school in Springfield, IL. She married Dr. Herbert L. Campbell in 1941 in Springfield. She was a homemaker. She enjoyed dancing, reading and playing bridge. Maxine was an avid sports fan. Survivors include two daughters, Pamela (Dave) Finck of El Paso, IL and Virginia (Mike) Petersen of Fulton, IL; one son, Richard (Rosalie) Campbell of Peoria, IL; five grandchildren; two great grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Virginia Buehrig of Springfield, IL. She was preceded in death by one brother, William Sutherland.
