Mary E. Main, 84, of Harbor Crest Nursing Home in Fulton, IL, died Friday, May 19, 2006 at the nursing home. Mary was born March 6, 1922, in Kewanee, IL, to LeRoy and Anna (Parr) Homer. She was educated in the Kewanee Grade and High Schools. She married Earl Brasel on March 12, 1938, in Kewanee. She then married Jimmie Main, Sr. on January 28, 1961 in Morrison, IL. Mary worked at General Electric Co. in Morrison for 27 years. She was also an Avon Representative. She was a member of the GEM Club and a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, Aerie " Clinton, IA. She belonged to the Red Hat Society at Harbor Crest Nursing Home. Survivors include five daughters, Donna (Mrs. Tom) Bergren of Kewanee, IL; Mary Ellen (Jerry) Main of Thomson, IL; Judy Smith of St. Marys, GA; Pat (Mrs. Tony) Goldsmith of Newton, IA and Dale (Todd Johnson) Ludvigsen of Fulton, IL; one son, Bruce Brasel of Fulton, IL; thirteen grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren; five sisters, Mrs. Peggy Domme of Aurora, IL; Mrs. Corrine Flayton of Superior, WI; Dora (Mrs. Larry) Johnson of Chicago, IL; Mrs. Sandy Reese of Smithville, MS and Mary (Mrs. Bill) Belle of Hesperia, CA; two brothers, William (Vera) Homer of Cary, IL and Joe Homer of Phoenix, AZ. She was preceded in death by one son, Jimmie Main Jr.; one grandson, Ryan Goldsmith; three sisters, Betty Holman, Linda Homer and Iona Homer; one brother, Robert Homer.
