Obituary for Marilyn K. Jackson
MARILYN K. JACKSON, 70, of Fulton, IL, died Saturday, February 4, 2012 at The Alverno Health Care Facility in Clinton, IA. Marilyn was born January 15, 1942 in Moline, IL to Forrest and Marjorie (Klendworth) Brandt. She was educated in the Erie Grade Schools and graduated from Erie High School in 1960. She then graduated from Cosmetology School in the Quad City area. Marilyn married Stephen L. Jackson on June 18, 1960 in Erie, IL. She was a homemaker and operated a hair styling salon out of her home. She was a member of the Edgewood Baptist Church in Rock Island, IL and attended First Baptist Church in Clinton, IA. Survivors include her husband Stephen; one son, JD (Debra) Jackson of Fulton, IL; three grandchildren, Taylor, Jay and Tanner Jackson; her mother, Marjorie Brandt of Erie, IL; one brother, Roger (Barb) Brandt of Port Byron, IL; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one son, Scott Jackson and her father, Forrest Brandt.
