Obituary for Marie Bielema
MARIE BIELEMA, 94, of Harbor Crest Nursing Home, Fulton, IL, died Wednesday, November 15, 2006 at the nursing home. Marie was born October 9, 1912, to John and Winnie (Klimstra) Heun, in Newton Township of Whiteside County, IL. She was educated in the rural Whiteside County schools. She married Menno Bos on March 9, 1933 in Garden Plain, IL. He died on February 15, 1946. She then married Ralph "Yank" Bielema on January 25, 1952 in Fulton, IL. He died April 17, 1973. Marie was a homemaker and did cleaning for local churches and private homes. She was member of First Reformed Church in Fulton, and was involved in the Women"s Missionary Society. Survivors include two daughters, Winnie (Mrs. Gary) Larson of Alexandria, VA and Carol (Mrs. Eric) Janvrin of Morrison, IL; one son, Larry Bos of LeClaire, IA; two grandchildren, Cheryl Larson and Eric (Marie) Larson; two great grandchildren, Michael Larson and Joshua Carden. She was preceded in death by two husbands, Menno Bos and Yank Bielema; two sisters, Grace Bos, Rena Huizenga; three half sisters, Minnie Bronkema-Bielema, Nellie Geerts, Anna Heun; four brothers, Albert, Dewey, Peter and Claus Heun; one half brother, George Heun.
