Marge was born November 2, 1928, in Garden Plain, IL, to Clarence and Jennie (DeWeerdt) Juist. She attended the Fulton Grade School and graduated from Fulton High School in 1946. On May 11, 1948 she married the love of her life, Stanley Bielema, in Fulton, where they built a full life together until his passing on January 25, 2007. In her earlier years, Marge worked as a teller at the former Fulton State Bank, and later, along with her husband, founded and operated Bielema Oil Company. Marge was an active member in the Fulton community, both socially and through service. She and her husband Stan were charter members of the Fulton Country Club, where they made many life-long friends and long-lasting memories with their grandchildren. Marge also spoke fondly about her time as a member of the former Trinity Reformed Church in Fulton, and most recently, as a member of the First Reformed Church. She also enjoyed giving back to her community by serving as treasurer of the Fulton Township Cemetery Board, the Illowa Thrift Store in Fulton, and the “Helping Africans Help Africa” program.

Survivors include two daughters, Connie (Rick) Van Heukelom of Grand Haven, MI and Lori (Bob) Van Zuiden of Morrison; five grandchildren, Amy Van Heukelom, Kim (Dave) McDonough; Nathan (Amber) Van Zuiden, Ryan (Laura) Van Zuiden, and Krista (Adam) Luckritz; four great grandchildren, Connor, MacKenzie and Reese McDonough; Aiden Van Zuiden.
