Obituary for Margaret A. "Margie" Vogel
MARGARET A. “MARGIE” VOGEL, 91, of Fulton, IL, died Sunday, October 18, 2020, at Allure of Mt. Carroll in Mt. Carroll, IL.

A private family memorial service will be held at the Fulton Chapel of the Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home with Rev. Michael Hooker, pastor of First Christian Reformed Church in Fulton, officiating. There will be no visitation. Interment will take place at Fulton Township Cemetery in Fulton, IL. A memorial has been established by the family.

Margie was born April 20, 1929, in Lynden, WA, to Peter and Jesse (Willey) Radder. She was educated in the Lynden, WA, schools. Margie married Bernard J. Vogel on August 8, 1952, in Fulton, IL. She was employed at Woods Drug Store which later became Berg Pharmacy in Fulton and was a homemaker. Margaret was a member of First Christian Reformed Church in Fulton. She was a former member of Bethel Christian Reformed Church where she taught Sunday school for 60 years, helped with Calvinettes, was a member of the Lydia Society and was chairman of the Special Events committee. Margie was also a volunteer at Mercy Hospital in Clinton, IA, and enjoyed golfing with her husband Bernie. She was heavily involved in Dutch Days in Fulton, making over 150 Dutch costumes over the years. She enjoyed baking, especially pies.

Survivors include her husband, Bernie; two daughters, Mrs. Jil Tague of Moline, IL, and Dawn (Mark) Dingmon of Lenexa, KS; four grandchildren, Bridget (Rorrie) Kramer, Charis (George) Phillips, Holland (Randall) Price, and Taylor (Kurt) Mangels; seven great-grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Carole Mauldin of St. Augustine, FL, and one brother, Gerald Radder of Camano Island, WA.

She was preceded in death by two sisters, Sharon and Janice and one brother, Peter.
