Obituary for Marcia A. Snyder
MARCIA A. SNYDER, 83, of Fulton, IL, died Monday, June 10, 2024, at her home.
Her funeral service will be held at 12:00 PM on Thursday, June 13, 2024, at the Fulton Chapel of the Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home with Pastor Steve Lingle officiating. A visitation will be held starting at 9:00 AM until the time of the funeral. Interment will be at Clinton Lawn Cemetery in Clinton, IA. A memorial has been established to the Clinton Humane Society.
Marcia was born October 9, 1940, in Savanna, IL, to Fredrick and Gladys (Bradford) Lister. She was educated in the Savanna grade schools and was a graduate of Savanna High School. She first married Jerry Larkey, who died in 1962. She later married Kelvin A. Snyder on October 30, 1964, in Savanna, IL. He died April 20, 2013. Marcia was a devoted homemaker and was an avid cat lover.
Survivors include one daughter, Trisha (Robert) Sikkema of Newton, IA; two sons, Wade Larkey of Fulton, IL and Wayne Larkey of Davenport, IA; three grandchildren, Dustin (George Byrd) Larkey, Lindsey Larkey and Sydney Larkey; two sisters, Diane Mayhall and Kay Letcher both of Thomson, IL.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Jerry; her second husband, Kelvin; one sister, JoAnne Lindeman.
