Obituary for Loretta Venema
LORETTA J. VENEMA, 81, of Harbor Crest Nursing Home, Fulton, IL, formerly of Clinton, IA, died Sunday, August 6, 2006 at the nursing home. Loretta was born June 9, 1925 in Garden Plain, IL, to Rinkie and Jennie (Decker) Lantinga. She married Harry Venema on April 4, 1969 in Clinton, IA. He died February 19, 1999. Loretta was employed at General Electric in Morrison, IL for 19 years. She was a member of Community Reformed Church in Clinton, IA and the church"s Guild. She also was a member of the Helping Hand Society of the First Reformed Church in Fulton and Mercy Medical Center Auxiliary in Clinton, IA. Survivors include one niece, Phyllis (Mrs. Michael) Picolotti of Savanna, IL; two great nieces, Jennifer Picolotti of Boscobel, WI and Brianne Picolotti of Crystal Lake, IL; one great nephew, Ryan (Heather) Picolotti of Genoa, IL; one great great niece, Morgan Picolotti and one great great nephew, Payton Picolotti. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry; two sisters, her twin in infancy and Hazel Buikema; three nieces in infancy.
