Obituary for Linda Lee Beck
LINDA LEE BECK, 78, of Kewanee, IL, formerly of Morrison, IL, died Thursday, January 1, 2015, at OSF St. Francis Medical Center, Peoria, IL. Linda was born July 7, 1936, in Sterling, IL, to Ronald LeRoy and Jennie C. (Lind) Smith. She attended Morrison Schools and later received her GED from Blackhawk Community Outreach at age 55. She married James Knapp and later married Jerry Beck. Linda worked at General Electric in Morrison, IL, for 10 years. She then worked for Perry and Nina Ives Farms and later was a homemaker. Linda was an avid Chicago Bears fan and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Survivors include two daughters, Kaye (Jeff) Finney of Kewanee, IL and Karla Morgan of Columbus, OH; two sons, Larry (Susie) Beck of Kewanee, IL and Jeff (Laura) Beck of Albuquerque, NM; fourteen grandchildren, Ronald (Annette) Finney, Greg (Christine) Finney, Michael (Michelle) Finney, Troy (fianc"e LaVonne Burcham) Finney, Heather Heath, Angie Heath, Jerry Rizor, Nisha Morgan, Dawn (Brad) Bryner, David Beck, Sharon (Autry) Cauthon, Kimberly Beck, Annie Marie Beck, Rachael Beck; seventeen great-grandchildren; one sister-in-law, Deloris Smith of Morrison, IL; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Raymond and Jerry Smith; and one granddaughter, Jennifer Beck.
