Obituary for Lillie Mae Webb
LILLIE M. WEBB, 91, of 14551 Fenton Road, Morrison, IL died Tuesday, September 16, 2008 at her home. Lillie was born on June 4, 1917 in Winter Haven, FL to Albert and Ida (Welch) Smith. She was educated in the Winter Haven, FL schools. She married Denver D. Webb on March 4, 1945 in Winter Haven, FL. He preceded her in death on July 16, 1996. Lillie worked at Bennett Box in Clinton, IA before retiring in 1975, after which she was a homemaker. She loved to fish, crochet and bake. Survivors include three sons, David (Alberta Pauline) Webb of Morrison, IL, Lewis (Sharon) Webb of Morrison, IL, Wayne (Jennifer Rosem) Webb of Clinton, IA; four grandchildren, Melanie Webb, Greg (Jenny) Webb, Sandi (Larry Brown) Stuart, Brad Webb; six great grandchildren, Amber Miller, Mya Lynn Stuart, Josie Smith, Lucas Smith, Noah Webb, Zoey Webb; two great great grandchildren, Marilyn Li, Cole Allen; two sisters, Mrs. Janie Welch of Haines, FL and Mrs. Evelyn "Eddie" Wilson of Lakeland, FL; two brothers, Richard (Janet) Smith of Winter Haven, FL and Rev. Albert (Emma) Smith Jr. of Spencer, TN. She was preceded in death by her husband, Denver; one sister, Rosie Welch; six brothers, Simon, Robert, Lewis, Clinton, Jim and Reuben Smith.
