Obituary for Lillian D. Reynolds
LILLIAN D. REYNOLDS, 86, of Fulton, IL, died Monday, November 12, 2018, at Resthave Home in Morrison, IL.
The funeral service will be 10:30 AM, Thursday, November 15, 2018, at the Fulton Chapel of the Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home with Rev. Edie Lenz, pastor of First Reformed Church in Fulton, officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 PM, Wednesday, November 14, 2018, at the Fulton Chapel of the Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home. Interment will be at Fulton Township Cemetery.
Lillian was born December 30, 1931, in Morrison, IL, to John and Annaline (Sterenberg) Venema. She was educated in the Fulton Grade Schools and was a graduate of Fulton High School. Lillian married William H. Reynolds on September 27, 1950, in Morrison. He died December 17, 1990. Lillian retired from Nielsen Clearing House in Clinton, IA, in 1987. She was a member of First Reformed Church where she served as a Sunday School teacher and was a member of the Helping Hands Committee for many years. Lillian was an excellent cook and baker. She enjoyed following Fulton sports. Lillian volunteered at Pleasant View Nursing Home in Morrison and at the former Samaritan North Hospital in Clinton, IA. A memorial has been established by the family.
Survivors include one daughter, Linda (Donald) Damhoff of Fulton, IL; one son, Keith (Terri) Reynolds of Fulton, IL; seven grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and one sister, Marilyn (Larry) Fulfs of Winslow, IL.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William; one daughter, Peggy Shepard; one grandson, Bradley Damhoff; twin brothers, Maynard R. and Leonard R. Venema.
