Obituary for Laura Frederick
LAURA FREDERICK, 69, of Lyndon, IL, died Wednesday, June 3, 2020 at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City, IA.
Cremation rites have been accorded; there will be no visitation or funeral services. The Morrison Chapel of the Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. A memorial has been established by the family.
Laura was born August 29, 1950 in Morrison, IL, to George and Henrietta (Kooi) Zuidema. She attended the Morrison grade schools and was a graduate of Morrison High School. In July of 1979 she married Robert J. Frederick in Fenton, IL. Laura worked as a bookkeeper at the True Value Hardware Store in Morrison. She loved to read books.
Survivors include her husband, Bob; one daughter, Brittany (Aaron) Fargher of Prophetstown, IL; six sons, Ben Frederick of Camanche, IA, John (Stacy) Frederick of Morrison, Joshua (Kristen) Frederick of Clinton, IA, Jason Frederick of Lyndon, IL, Shawn (Angela) Frederick of Kentucky, Chris (Lisa) Frederick, also of Kentucky; many grandchildren; one great grandchild; three sisters, Ethel (Marv) VanZuiden of Morrison, Judy (Mike) Brownfield of Elgin, IL and Mary Ann (Paul) Thompson of Arizona.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Neil Zuidema.
