Obituary for Larry D. Bush
LARRY D. BUSH, 64, of 18981 Holly Road, Morrison, IL, died Friday, July 28, 2006 at his home. Larry was born February 2, 1942, in Morrison, IL, to Donald E. and Kathryn R. (Bush) Bush. He was educated in the rural Whiteside County grade schools and was a 1960 graduate of Morrison High School. He married Carolyn K. Goodenough on May 11, 1962 in Morrison. Larry worked for Herman Nelson in Morrison and the Morrison Farmer"s Elevator, in both the Morrison and Sterling plants. He also farmed in the rural Morrison area for his entire life. He was a member of the Ebenezer Reformed Church in Morrison, and had served as deacon and Sunday school superintendent. He was a lifetime member of the American Motorcycle Association, had served as a board member of the Forreston Mutual Insurance Co., and was a committee member for the Whiteside County Farm Service Agency. He enjoyed motorcycle touring, traveling, golfing, the company of his friends and spending time with his grandchildren. Survivors include his wife, Carolyn; three sons, Mark Bush of Nixa, MO, Scott (Patty) Bush of Morrison, IL and Randy (Nadine) Bush of Kimberling City, MO; nine grandchildren, Tara, Jason and Jesse Bush, Zach Underhill; Alex and Mathew Burson, Nick Bush; Justin Clark, Jessica Bush; one sister, Virginia (Mrs. Terry) Carroll of Galena, IL; one brother, Steve (Ann) Bush of Morrison, IL. He was preceded in death by his parents.
