Obituary for Kevin L. Book
KEVIN L. BOOK, 46, of Morrison, IL, died Thursday, August 18, 2011 at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City, IA. Kevin was born July 14, 1965, in Morrison, IL, to Roy Lee and Kathleen (Oltman) Book. He graduated from Chadwick High School, Chadwick, IL, in 1984. Kevin began farming before graduating high school, and continued to farm throughout his life. He was an avid tractor puller and formed many great friendships with fellow pullers. He was a member of Bethesda Lutheran Church in Morrison and also a member of the Illini State Pullers and the National Hart-Parr Oliver Collectors Association. Kevin really enjoyed farming, and always looked forward to the harvest. Survivors include his parents, Roy Lee and Kathleen, of Morrison; one sister, Kolleen (Doug) Pannier of Morrison; two nieces, Lauren and Kelly Pannier; paternal grandfather, Marion Book of Abilene, KS. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Walter and Hazel Oltman; paternal grandmother, Eunice Book.
