Obituary for Kevin Gene McCulloh
KEVIN GENE MC CULLOH, 53, of Simi Valley, CA, died Sunday November 9, 2014 at his home in CA. Kevin was born March 24, 1961, in Morrison, IL, to Owen and Judy (Schroeder) McCulloh. He attended the rural Morrison grade schools of Union Grove and Prairie Center. He graduated from Morrison High School in 1979 and attended Sauk Valley Community College, Dixon, IL, and then Hawkeye Technical Institute in Waterloo, IA. In 1982 he married Lisa Conrads from Cedar Falls, IA. After marriage, while working at Litton Industries in Davenport, IA, he attended St. Ambrose College and received his engineering degree. In 1998 the family moved to California to pursue his very valuable engineering talent. During his career he developed many patents. Kevin loved being with his family and teaching them the sports he loved. He liked to design landscapes and plant them in his yard, and also enjoyed golfing when time was available. He was a very active member of Cornerstone Church in Moorpark, CA. Survivors include his wife, Lisa; four daughters, Melissa, Kara, Tamra and Mikayla; four grandsons, Conner, Baron, Braydon Calabrese and Quinn Martin, all from California. Also surviving are his parents, Owen and Judy McCulloh and one sister, Kandy Heller, all from Morrison. Kevin was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Lawrence and Annetta Schroeder; paternal grandparents, Howard and Mae McCulloh.
