Obituary for Kerry Williams
Kerry Williams, 71, of Morrison, IL, died Thursday, August 11, 2022 at Allure of Prophetstown.
Cremation rites have been accorded. A private family memorial service will be held at the Morrison Chapel of the Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home, with Mr. Ken Renkes officiating. There will be no visitation. Interment will be at Grove Hill Cemetery in Morrison. A memorial has been established to WHOA – White Oaks Therapeutic Equestrian Center, Morrison.
Kerry was born on April 8, 1951, in Sterling, IL, to Harvey L. Sr., and Pauline (Pannell) Williams. He was educated in the Morrison Grade Schools and attended Morrison High School. Kerry was first employed by Volckmanns Furniture in Morrison. He then worked at Climco Coils and later retired from General Electric in Morrison, in 2010. He enjoyed fishing as well as classic and antique cars. Kerry loved traveling, especially out west to the mountains.
Survivors include his mother, Pauline Williams; one sister, Marcia (Dale) Wiersema; two brothers, Harvey Williams and Rick Williams, all of Morrison; and many nieces and nephews.
Kerry was preceded in death by his father, Harvey Sr.; one sister, Toni Cossman; and two sisters-in-law, Barb Williams and Regina Williams.
