Obituary for Kenneth H. Kemmer
KENNETH H. KEMMER, 98, of Morrison, IL, died Tuesday, March 21, 2017, at Resthave Home in Morrison, IL.Kenneth was born April 22, 1918, in Morrison, IL, to Frederick and Mabel (Twombly) Kemmer. He was educated in the Unionville Grade School and was a graduate of Morrison High School. Kenneth married Marie Stage on October 25, 1936, in Thomson, IL. She died June 12, 2009. Kenneth was employed by General Electric in Morrison as a tool and die maker. He lived in Thomson, IL, Galesburg, IL, Morrison, IL, Zephryhills, FL, and Adams, WI, before retiring to Morrison in 2003.Survivors include one daughter, Kay (John) Mucci of Morrison, IL; two sons, Doug (Nancy) Kemmer of Tavernier, FL and Steve (Karen) Kemmer of Canadian, OK; seven grandchildren, Ben (Angie) Kemmer, Nick (Molly) Kemmer, Luke (Hollie) Kemmer, Jason (Katny) Mucci, Maria Garland, Dominic Mucci, and Joseph (Sherry) Mucci; two stepgrandchildren, Kenny (Belinda) Gruber and Tom (Janna) Gruber;sixteen great-grandchildren; fourstep great-grandchildren;one sister, Mildred (Bill) Hornay of Galesburg, IL and one brother, Robert (Ann) Kemmer of Flagstaff, AZ.He was preceded in death by his wife, Marie; two sisters, Vera Horton and Dorothy McIlary.
