Obituary for Kenneth A. Buikema
KENNETH A. BUIKEMA, 66, of Fulton, IL, died Wednesday, March 30, 2016 at Select Specialty Hospital in Davenport, IA. Ken was born November 12, 1949, in Clinton, IA, to Gerald J. and Dorothy (Sikkema) Buikema. He was educated in the Fulton Grade Schools and was a 1968 graduate of Fulton High School. He then attended Sterling Vocational School. He married Donna M. Johnson on December 21, 1985 in Camanche, IA. Ken was employed by ADM in Clinton, IA for 46 years. He was an amateur (Ham) radio operator and was very interested in family genealogy. He also enjoyed flying radio controlled model airplanes and playing cards. Survivors include his wife, Donna; one son, Patrick Buikema of Las Vegas, NV; four step-sons, Ryan (Jill) Johnson of Las Vegas, NV, Byron Temple of Freeport, IA, William Temple of Fulton, IL and Thomas Temple of Fulton, IL; two step grandchildren, Kayne Johnson and Cash Johnson. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Ronald Buikema.
