Obituary for Kathryn R. Bush
KATHRYN R. BUSH, 87, of 505 S. Base Street, Morrison, IL, died Tuesday, March 7, 2006 at C.G.H. Medical Center in Sterling, IL. Kathryn was born October 15, 1918, in Morrison, IL, to Abel and Jennie (Swartz) Bush. She was educated in the rural Whiteside County schools. She married Donald E. Bush on February 14, 1940 in Morrison. He died on November 12, 1969. She had worked at the former Ben Franklin Store in Morrison, and then as a nurse"s aid at the Morrison Community Hospital. She was a member of Ebenezer Reformed Church in Morrison, where she sang in the choir, was active in the church"s Lydia Society, and served as a youth group leader. She volunteered for the American Cancer Society and at Northside Elementary School in Morrison. She was a Pink Lady at Morrison Community Hospital, volunteered in the Hospital Lobby Shoppe and sang in the Hospital Quartet. Survivors include one daughter, Virginia (Mrs. Terry) Carroll of Galena, IL; two sons, Larry (Carolyn) Bush and Steven (Ann) Bush, both of Morrison, IL; ten grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald; four sisters, Edna Norman, Pauline Anderson, Jean Keegan, Lorraine Boerema; one brother, David A. Bush.

FUNERAL SERVICE WHEN AND WHERE: 10:30 a.m. Saturday, March 11, 2006 at Ebenezer Reformed Church in Morrison, IL. The service is preceded by a 10:15 a.m. family prayer service at the churchOFFICIATING CLERGY Rev. Jon W.
