Obituary for Kathryn D. Rosenow
KATHRYN D. ROSENOW, 94, of Resthave Nursing Home, Morrison, IL, died Monday, March 20, 2006 at the nursing home. Kathryn was born June 15, 1911 in Morrison, IL, to Ira and Cora (Olson) Null. She was educated in the Morrison grade schools and was a 1929 graduate of Morrison High School. She married Harold F. Rosenow on November 15, 1930 in Morrison, IL. He died January 30, 1967. Kathryn was employed in the dietary department of the Morrison Community Hospital for 20 years, retiring in 1981. She was a member of the Morrison United Methodist Church and was a lifelong Morrison resident. Survivors include two daughters, Diane (Mrs. Gerald) Wiebenga of Morrison, IL and Dawn Rosenow of Rock Island, IL; two sons, David Rosenow of The Colony, TX and Darold (Debby) Rosenow of Naperville, IL; eight grandchildren, Chris (Carla) Schroeder, Mrs. Karen Rogers, Curt (Shelly) Schroeder, Jackie Rosenow, Cheryl (Mrs. Doug) Loffgren, Lori (Mrs. Jeff) Simmons, Katie Rosenow (Jeremy Evans), and Amy Rosenow; eleven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold; two brothers, Lloyd and Warren Null.
