Obituary for Kathryn Bush
KATHRYN BUSH, 91, of Harbor Crest Nursing Home, Fulton, IL, died Saturday, November 17, 2012, at Mercy Medical Center North, Clinton, IA. Kathryn was born April 10, 1921, in Fulton, IL, to Albert and Effie (Decker) Huizenga. She was educated in the Fulton Grade School and attended Fulton High School. She married George J. Bush on January 16, 1941, in Clinton, IA. He died January 15, 1988. Kathryn was a homemaker. She was a member of First Reformed Church in Fulton, where she participated in Helping Hands Society. Survivors include one son, Jerry (Valerie) Bush of Fulton, IL; three grandchildren, Andrea (Rick) Romer, Brian (Karin) Bush, and Kurt (Amber) Bush; four great-grandchildren, Ayden and Derek Romer and Cooper and Ella Bush; and one sister, Marjorie June Huizenga. She was preceded in death by her husband, George; one daughter, Jane Carol; one brother, Benjamin Huizenga; and one sister, Alice Voss.
