Obituary for Justin G. Curtin
JUSTIN G. CURTIN, 30, of 13775 Howard Rd., Prophetstown, IL, died Monday, December 9, 2013 at his home in Prophetstown. Justin was born April 19, 1983, in Cedar Rapids, IA, to Greg and Teresa (Tank) Curtin. He was educated in the Prophetstown Grade School and attended Prophetstown High School. Justin was employed at Menk USA in Sterling, IL for 9 years. Justin loved skateboarding. He enjoyed outdoor activities, especially fishing and riding his four-wheeler. He was an avid fan of the San Francisco 49ers and Chicago Blackhawks. Survivors include one son, Jason Gregory Ray Curtin, of Prophetstown, IL; his mother and step-father, Teresa and Tom Shere of Prophetstown; his father and step-mother, Greg and Madeline Curtin of Prophetstown; one sister, Shana (Matt) Reutzel of Prophetstown; one brother, Brian (Michelle) Curtin of Davenport, IA; maternal grandparents, Merle and Donna Tank of Oxford Junction, IA; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by one brother, Jesse Shere; his paternal grandparents, James and Wilma Curtin.
