Obituary for Jill Marr-Sikkema
JILL MARR-SIKKEMA, 62, of 818 16th Avenue, Fulton, IL, died Wednesday, May 26, 2010 at Harbor Crest Nursing Home, Fulton, IL. Jill was born January 15, 1948 in Moline, IL, to Benjamin B. and Arlene R. (McKenzie) Buckman. She was educated in the rural Whiteside County grade schools and was a graduate of Fulton High School. She married Vernon E. Sikkema on December 14, 1996 in Clinton, IA. Jill was employed by General Electric in Morrison, IL and Drives, Inc. in Fulton, IL. Most recently, she was employed by Electrolux as Division Service Manager. Jill was a member of the First Baptist Church in Clinton, IA and the church"s Bible Study Group. She enjoyed making jewelry and various arts and crafts. Her grandparents farmed in the Albany, IL area. Survivors include her husband, Vernon; one son, Benjamin (Toni) Marr of Thomson, IL; four grandchildren, Christopher Tracy, Shannon Tracy, James Tracy, and Jason Peppers; nine great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; three step daughters, Karen (Dean) Eganhouse of Fulton, IL; Pam (Mike) Michaelsen of Low Moore, IA; and Marcia Kutzli of Fulton, IL; two step sons, Dale (Jolene) Sikkema and Ray Jeff Sikkema both of Fulton, IL; seven step grandchildren, Trisha and Heather Eganhouse, Michael C. and Matthew Michaelsen, Stephanie (Ryan) Voss, Jennifer (Nathan) Bormann, and Eric (Tori) Sikkema; three step great grandchildren, Adrianna VanPelt, Jacob Voss, and Bryson Eganhouse; three sisters, Barb Waters of Chicago, IL, Becky Workman of McCausland, IA, and Jingles Badtke of LaFarge, WI.
