Obituary for Jerald B. Miley
JERALD B. "JERRY" MILEY, 59, of Fulton, MO, formerly of Fulton, IL, died Monday, December 5, 2005, at his home. Jerry was born October 6, 1946 in Clinton, IA to Blaine "Mike" and Angeline (Klavenga) Miley. He was a 1964 graduate of Fulton High School and attended Sauk Valley Community College in Dixon, IL. He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War. Jerry married Linda K. Moldermaker on July 16, 1968 in Palmyra, MO. He was employed by Commonwealth Edison at the Cordova Nuclear Power Generating Facility. He was later employed as an Instrument and Control Technician for AmerenUE, Callaway Plant, until retiring in 2002. Jerry was a member of Court Street United Methodist Church in Fulton, MO and a former member of Trinity Reformed Church in Fulton, IL. He was a member of the VFW, Fulton, MO Post. He was an avid Cubs fan. He enjoyed gardening, reading, and spending time with his grandchildren. Survivors include his wife, Linda; two daughters, Sarah (Mrs. Roy) Rohrbach of Fulton, MO and Angie (Mrs. Joe) Vogel of Jefferson City, MO; five grandchildren, Ean, Drew, and Caleb Rohrbach; Alex and Katie Vogel; his mother, Angeline Miley of Fulton, IL; two sisters, Joleen (Mrs. Bob) Bendull of Grayslake, IL and Brenda (Mrs. Andy) Skylling of Gurnee, IL; and one brother, Steve (Joyce) Miley of Morrison, IL. He was preceded in death by his father.
