Obituary for Jennie L. Pessman
JENNIE L. PESSMAN, 84, of Deer Park, WA formerly of Fulton, IL, died Tuesday, January 10, 2006 at the Holy Family Hospital in Spokane, WA. Jennie was born January 30, 1921 in Morrison, IL, to Louis E. and Stella (Hook) Temple. She was educated in the rural Whiteside County schools. She married Lambert R. Pessman on March 29, 1944 in Fulton, IL. He died September 2, 2002. Jennie farmed with her late husband in the Garden Plain area of rural Fulton, IL. She was a member of First Christian Reformed Church in Fulton and the church"s Rebecca Society and had served as a Sunday School teacher. She was a "Pink Lady" volunteer at Mercy Medical Center in Clinton, IA with 1000 volunteer hours. She enjoyed cooking, baking, and sewing. Survivors include one daughter, Carolyn (Mrs. Keith) Hageney of Deer Park, WA; one daughter-in-law, Mrs. Barb Pessman of Morrison, IL; one granddaughter and her fianc"e, Melissa Pessman of Davenport, IA and Chris Barnhart; two brothers, Arthur L. Temple of Clinton, IA and Robert Temple of Stockton, CA. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lambert; one son, Gary Pessman; one grandson, Allen Pessman, one sister in infancy; two brothers, John and Evert Temple.
