Obituary for Jennie L. Huling
JENNIE L. HULING, 53, of 2004 Terrace Lane, Morrison, IL, died Thursday, April 26, 2007 at Morrison Community Hospital, Morrison, IL. Jennie was born September 6, 1953 in Clinton, IA to Wilbur K. and Vada G. (French) Reader. She was a 1971 graduate of Mount St. Clare High School in Clinton, IA. She married Ernie Huling on December 28, 1974 in Clinton, IA. Jennie was employed by the City of Morrison as a Parking Control Officer from 1975 to 1985. She then was named Administrative Assistant to the Morrison City Administrator. In 1990, she became Utility Account Clerk for the City of Morrison. Then in 1999, she was appointed as City Clerk for Morrison and served in that capacity until her death. Jennie was a member of St. Anne"s Episcopal Church in Morrison and was active in the church women"s group. She was an active member of Northwest Illinois Municipal Clerk"s Association. Jennie enjoyed scrapbooking, gardening, traveling, and working with her aquariums. Survivors include her husband, Ernie; her father, Wilbur Reader of Thomson, IL and a sister, Kevan (Mrs. James) De Vault of Fulton, IL. She was preceded in death by her mother, Vada Reader and her grandparents.
