Obituary for Jennie C. Rose
JENNIE C. ROSE, 74, of 19719 Fairhaven Road, Chadwick, IL, died Friday, December 4, 2009 at her home. Jennie was born September 14, 1935 in Fulton, IL, to Earl and Grace (Blink) Hook. She was educated in the rural Whiteside County grade schools and was a graduate of Erie High School in Erie, IL. Jennie married LaVerne E. Rose on October 18, 1955 in Erie. She was a member of Emmanuel Reformed Church in Morrison. Jennie greatly enjoyed flowers and other houseplants. Survivors include her husband, LaVerne; one son, Rodney (Geraldine) Rose of Chadwick, IL and one granddaughter, Annette Rose of Chadwick, IL. She was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers, John, Epe, Isaac, and Donald Hook.
