Obituary for Jeffrey G. Koselka
JEFFREY G. KOSELKA, 54, of 402 E. High Street, Morrison, IL, died Monday, December 13, 2010 at CGH Medical Center in Sterling, IL. Jeff was born August 31, 1956 in Elgin, IL, to Robert F. and Georgia J. (Gibbs) Koselka. He was educated in the Elgin grade schools and was a 1975 graduate of Larkin High School in Elgin. He married Verna M. Malpas on February 7, 1986 in Morrison. Jeff was first employed as a union plumber with Local 554 in Elgin, IL. He was employed by the former Bull Lumber Company in Morrison and later owned and operated Koselka Plumbing in Morrison. He, most recently, was employed by Haan Builders, Inc. in Fulton, IL. Jeff enjoyed boating, fishing, refurbishing his postal jeep, visiting Albuquerque, NM. He especially enjoyed spending time with his best friend and wife, Verna, his family, and special friends, Ted and Cindy Bush. Survivors include his wife, Verna; his parents, Robert and Georgia Koselka of Elgin, IL; one daughter, Tracy (Ian) Banks-Geiger of Morrison, IL; three grandchildren, Gwendolyn, Liam, and Rowan Geiger; two brothers, John Koselka of Roswell, GA and Jim Koselka of South Elgin, IL; and goddaughter, Whitney Bush of Morrison, IL.
