Obituary for Jeanie A. House
Jeanie A. House, 69, died Wednesday, August 11, 2021, after a brave and courageous battle with cancer at her home in Morrison, IL, surrounded by family and friends.
A funeral mass will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, August 16, 2021 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Morrison, IL, with Father Rev. William Antillon of Church of St. Mary of the Assumption in Maple Park, IL and Pastor Grant Mulder of Bethel Reformed Church in Sterling, IL co-officiating. A visitation will be held from 2:00 – 4:00 PM Sunday, August 15, 2021 at the Morrison Chapel of the Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home. Interment will be at Grove Hill Cemetery in Morrison. A memorial has been established.
Jeanie was born October 6, 1951 in Fond Du Lac, WI to Wesley and Diane (Wirtz) Warner. She was educated in the Fond Du Lac grade schools and was a 1969 graduate of Sterling High School in Sterling, IL. Jeanie married Brian G. House on June 10, 1984 in Morrison, IL. She was an administrative assistant for 37 years at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Morrison. She was a member of Bethel Reformed Church in Sterling and was also a member of the lady’s prayer group at St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Jeanie enjoyed the outdoors, camping and fishing. She was an avid animal lover, particularly horses. Her greatest joy in life was spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandson.
She is survived by her husband, Brian; one son, Jeramie House of Morrison; one grandson, Micah House of Fulton, IL; three sisters, Diana (Dave) Sino of Fort Madison, IA, Linda (Bill) House of Rock Falls, IL and Karen (Rick) Binkowsky of De Pere, WI; three brothers, Alan Warner (Brenda Crye) of Waterford, WI, Gary (Denise) Warner of Sterling, IL and David Warner of Rochelle, IL; special sisters-in-law, Nancy Warner and Jackie Newell.
She was predeceased by her parents; one brother, Steven Warner; mother and father in law, Darrell and Shirley House.
