Obituary for Jeane A. Housenga
JEANE A. HOUSENGA, 77, of Harbor Crest Nursing Home, Fulton, IL, died Saturday, November 23, 2013, at the nursing home. Jeane was born December 20, 1935, in Fulton, IL, to Bernard and Mae A. (Pannell) Baker. She was educated in the Fulton Grade Schools and was a 1953 graduate of Fulton High School. She married Everett H. "Duder" Housenga on October 2, 1964, in Fulton. He died November 21, 1986. Jeane was employed by the former Montgomery Wards Department Store in Clinton, IA. She also served as the Fulton Township Clerk. Jeane was a member of the Fulton Presbyterian Church in Fulton. She enjoyed flower gardening and baking. Survivors include three sisters, Bonnie (Bob) Holt of Moline, IL; Noreen Howard of Albany, IL; and Sheila (Donald) Franzen of Fulton, IL; two brothers, Harlan (Lorraine) Baker of Clinton, IA and Ronald (Bonnie Hansen) Baker of Naperville, IL. She was preceded in death by her husband, Everett; one daughter, Sherri Lack; two brothers, Lauren "Larry" Baker and Kevin Baker.
