Obituary for Jacque L. Housenga
JACQUE L. HOUSENGA, 65, of The Alverno Health Care Facility, Clinton, IA, died Wednesday, August 26, 2009 at the Alverno. Jacque was born January 15, 1944 in Clinton, IA. He was educated in the Fulton Grade Schools and attended Fulton High School. He married Beverly Huizenga on August 21, 1964 in Fulton, IL. Jacque enjoyed being an over the road truck driver for the majority of his life. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with family, grandchildren, and friends. More recently, he had become a passionate NASCAR fan. Survivors include his mother, Gertrude Housenga of Fulton, IL; one daughter, Renee (Housenga) Johnson of Fulton, IL; two sons, Shane (Jennifer) Housenga and Darin Housenga both of Morrison, IL; four grandchildren, Tyler and Alexander Johnson; Logan and Braden Housenga; four sisters, Lorna (Harlan) Houzenga of Morrison, IL; Barbara (Dave) Grater of Morrison, IL; Vicki (Joe) Moellenbeck of Port Byron, IL; Joan Ward of Clinton, IA; special friends, Bob (Sheila) Stickel and family of Teeds Grove, IA. He was preceded in death by his father, Edward Housenga; one daughter, Kimberly Housenga and one son, Joseph Housenga.
