Obituary for Henry Merema
HENRY MEREMA, 96, of Parkway Center in Sterling, IL, formerly of Morrison, IL, died Wednesday, November 22, 2006 at Parkway Center. Henry was born December 20, 1909 in Morrison, IL to Lambert and Roelvina (VanDyke) Merema. He was educated in the rural Fulton, IL grade schools. He married Hazel M. Amman on February 25, 1951 in Fulton. Henry farmed, along with his wife, in the rural Morrison area his entire life. He was a member of Emmanuel Reformed Church in Morrison. Survivors include his wife, Hazel, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by four sisters, Alice Huizenga, Elsie Shipma, Effie Wiersema, Roelvina Miller; seven brothers, Sam, Bill, Clarence, Bernie, Richard, Louis and one in infancy, William Merema
