Obituary for Henrietta Jane Wiebenga
HENRIETTA "ETTA" JANE WIEBENGA, 90, of Prairie Hills Senior Living Center, Clinton, IA, formerly of Fulton, IL, died Sunday, April 20, 2014, at Mercy Living Center South, Clinton, IA. Henrietta was born January 19, 1924, in Morrison, IL, to Roy J. and Winnie (Newendyke) Dykema. She was educated in the Morrison, IL schools. She married Clarence L. Wiebenga on October 9, 1945, in Morrison, IL. He died March 10, 1995. Henrietta was a baker at the Fulton Middle School in Fulton, IL and she was a homemaker. Henrietta was a member of First Christian Reformed Church in Fulton, where she participated in the Rebecca Society. She was a member of the Fulton Christian School Auxiliary and a volunteer at the De Immigrant Windmill in Fulton. Henrietta was an avid card player, enjoyed crocheting, and was a Chicago Cubs and Bulls fan. She enjoyed time spent with her family especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Survivors include four daughters, Pamela VanZuiden of Camanche, IA; Celia (Roland) Behrens of Andover, IA; Brenda (David "Dick") Huizenga of Fulton, IL; and Crystal (Kim Harper) Webster of Suisun City, CA; seven grandchildren, Shawn (Jenna) VanZuiden, Troy (Angie) VanZuiden, Clint (Carrie) VanZuiden, Kurt (Julie) Behrens, Bradley (Staci) Behrens, Kimberly (Scot) Schaumburg, Andrea (David Houtz) Huizenga; thirteen great-grandchildren; three nephews, Arlyn (Terry) Dykema, Roger (Cheryl) Dykema, and Gary Dykema. She was preceded in death by her husband; one grandson in infancy; and one brother, James Dykema.
