GERTRUDE ELOISE (TEMPLE) VOSS, 87, previously of Clinton, Iowa, died October 9, 2014 in Carlsbad, California.Gertrude was born on April 30, 1927, in Garden Plain, IL, to Dewey E. and Helen (Blink) Temple. She married James Marvin Voss on Nov. 17, 1949, in Fulton. She enjoyed farming with her husband, traveling and her grandchildren. She was previously a member of First Reformed Church of Fulton. Survivors include a son, Kenneth James Voss, Cincinnati, Ohio and a daughter, Linda (Robert) Diane Talley of Carlsbad, Ca; three grandchildren, Lisa (Geoff) Talley-Wetherell, Chicago, Ill, Kelly Richeal, Iowa City, Iowa, Laura Talley, Carlsbad, Ca; two sisters, Helene Brockett of Aledo, IL and Dolores (Kenneth) Fritz of Morrison, IL; one brother, Isaac (Mary) Temple of Morrison, IL; two sisters-in-law, Lavece Temple of Thomson, IL and Louise Temple of Prophetstown, IL, and many nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her beloved husband James and daughter Karen Richeal; her parents; four brothers, Alfred, Raymond, Allen and Eugene Temple; one brother-in-law, Richard Brockett; one sister-in-law, Retta Temple.
There will be no visitation or funeral service. The Fulton Chapel of the Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
