Obituary for George H. Wildi
GEORGE H. WILDI, 87, of Seattle, Washington formerly of Morrison, IL died Friday, September 25, 2009 at Mercy Medical Center North in Clinton, IA. Goerge was born on February 26, 1922 in Morrison, IL to Carl R. and Martha E. (Kentfield) Wildi. He was educated in the Morrison Grade Schools and was a 1940 graduate of Morrison High School. He was a graduate of the Kemper Military Academy in Booneville, MO and was also a graduate of the University of Illinois. He married Lovicia Parker on June 29, 1951 in Morrison, IL. She preceded him in death on October 5, 1988. He later married Mary Margaret (Nightzer) LaBouy-Wildi on June 8, 1991 in Bigfoot, IL. Goerge served in the U.S. Army during WWII and the Korean Conflict. He was employed by Boeing Aircraft Corporation in Seattle, WA as an engineer retiring in 1986. He was a member of Westside Presbyterian Church in Seattle, WA, the 70th Division Association, Morrison Dunlap Lodge #321 AF & AM and SPEA (Society of Professional Engineers Association). Survivors include his wife, Maggie Wildi of Seattle, WA; one daughter, Emily (Lewis Jr.) Curtiss of Seattle, WA; one son, Scott H. (Robin) Wildi of Seattle, WA; four grandchildren, Anna, Levi and Evan Curtiss, Kelly Wildi; one great grandchild, Elijah Hendricksen; one sister, Marion Paulsen of Morrison, IL; one brother, John D. (Margarete) Wildi of Whitewater, WI. He was preceded in death by his parents and his first wife, Lovicia.
