G. LAVONNE RICHMOND, 78, of Pleasant View Nursing Home, Morrison, IL, died Wednesday, March 28, 2007, at the nursing home.LaVonne was born September 8, 1928 in Milledgeville, IL, to Noah M. and Sarah I. (Fleming) Dennis. She was educated in the Milledgeville grade school and graduated from Milledgeville High School. She married Herbert R. Richmond on March 1, 1953 in Morrison. He died February 14, 2006. LaVonne was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church in Morrison, where she had taught Sunday School. Survivors include two daughters, Becky Willey (Steve Sturtevant) of Morrison and RoAnn (Mrs. Steve) Porter of Morrison; four grandchildren, Heather (Mrs. Ben) Porter-Engwall, Justin (Jessica) Porter, Holly Porter, and Ashley Willey.She was preceded in death by her husband, Herb; one sister, Leone Olson; two brothers, Donald and Wayne Dennis.
