Obituary for Elizabeth E. Morrow
ELIZABETH ELEN MORROW, 97, of Sterling, IL, passed away on Tuesday, March 8, 2016. She was born May 27, 1918 near Agency, IA, to Clarence "Dick" and Lepha Isenhart Heller. She graduated from Fulton High School in 1936. She married William J. Conner on March 10, 1937. He died on March 11, 1946 as a result of a car-train accident. She later married Verne L. Morrow on September 25, 1948. He preceded her in death on October 23, 1968. She was also preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, one grandson and one granddaughter. Elizabeth, also known as "Betty", is survived by her children and their spouses, James (Sharon) Conner of Port Byron, IL, Gerald (Ellen) Conner of Sterling, IL, David Conner of Edwards, IL, Gloria (Michael) Graville of Corcoran, CA and Joyce Runge of Clinton, IA; 18 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren, 10 great-great grandchildren and other relatives.Elizabeth resided in Fulton, IL for many years where she was a member of the Fulton Presbyterian Church, taking an active part in the women"s activities as well as volunteering as a member of the Harbor Crest Auxiliary in Fulton. A homemaker, she loved to cook and bake, do needlework, loved animals and had a green thumb with plants. Elizabeth was an avid reader, did word search, liked to play bingo and enjoyed boating and camping with her family.

FUNERAL: Cremation rites have been accorded. There will be no memorial services or visitation. A private family graveside service for the immediate family will be arranged by the Fulton Chapel of the Bosma-Renkes Funeral HomeINTERMENT: Fulton Township Cemetery - Fulton, IL
