Obituary for Eleanor Voss
ELEANOR VOSS, 95, of Resthave Nursing Home, Morrison, IL, died Tuesday October 18, 2016 at the nursing home.Eleanor was born October 11, 1921 in Morrison, to Renzie and Alice (Amman) Wiersema. She was educated in the rural Whiteside County schools. On June 23, 1942 she married Ray J. Voss in Morrison. He died in November of 1984. Eleanor was first employed by Carnation Milk Factory in Morrison. She was then employed by Volckmanns Furniture and General Electric, both in Morrison, and lastly she worked for Climco Coils in Morrison for 35 years retiring in 2011.Survivors include one son, Larry R. Voss of Prophetstown, IL; eight grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; several great great grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray; one son, Reynold Ren Voss.
